ROERO ARNEIS D.O.C.G WOOD
Native white wine, it is a vinification variant of the vinified Roero Arneis in white preceded by a long cryomaceration to bring out its maximum aromas and fermented in Acacia barriques.
Exposure: South - south/east.
Grapevine: 100% Arneis.
Soil Type: Calcareous sandy clayey.
Vinification: At the beginning of September, the selected grapes are harvested by hand in crates and subjected to soft pressing. The must ferments initially in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature and then in barriques.
Properties: 12 months in wooden barrels, with periodic manual batonnages
Tasting Notes: All this makes this aged white a truly particular white both in aromas and tastes.
Longevity: 5 Years.
Alcohol Content: 13,5% - 14,5%Vol
Serving Temperature: 8°-10°C.
Food Pairings: Aged cheeses, first courses, first and second courses based on fish.
