It is the most consumed traditional table wine in Piemonte.

Exposure: South - south/east

Grapevine: 100% Dolcetto.

Soil Type: Medium texture characterised by sand and clay.

Vinification: Accurate selection of the grapes. Alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature at about 28°C in stainless steel tanks and maceration for 15 days. Racking and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks in November.

Ageing: 5 months in stainless steel tanks and 2 months in bottle.

Tasting Notes:It has a dark purple colour, vinous, fruity with plum and red berries overtones and a delicate floral finish. It has a fresh and pleasantly sapid taste, well-orchestrated and balanced with a slightly bitterish aftertaste.

Longevity: 2/3 years.

Alcohol Content: 12,5% - 13,5%Vol

Serving Temperature: 14°- 16°C.

Food Pairings: Traditional Piedmontese starters and first courses such as tajarin, agnolotti and lasagne but also white and grilled meats.
