LANGHE D.O.C CHARDONNAY
It is a selection of the best grapevine cultivated on vineyards in Roero’s hills.
Exposure: South - south/east
Grapevine: 100% Chardonnay.
Soil Type: Medium texture characterised by sand and clay.
Vinification: Hand picking. Soft pressing of the grapes, must fermentation at controlled temperature (14°-15°C) for about 20 days. Ageing « sur lies » for 7/8 months. Bottling at the beginning of the following summer.
Ageing: 1 month in bottle.
Tasting Notes: Bright straw yellow redolent of banana, yellow plum, melon and citrus with floral overtones of acacia and broom and memoirs of aromatic herbs and honey. It has an elegant taste, fresh and sapid with a lingering and mineral length.
Longevity: 2/4 years.
Alcohol Content: 12,5% - 13,5%Vol
Serving Temperature: 10°-12°C.
Food Pairings: Cocktails, fish starters, light first courses, risotti and pasta dishes.
