BARBERA D’ALBA D.O.C SUPERIORE
Selection of the best grapes from vineyards from the Roero hills.
Exposure: South - south/east
Grapevine: 100% Barbera.
Soil Type: Medium-textured sandy clayey.
Vinification: It differs from other Barbera grapes thanks to the prolonged ripening of the grapes which raises the alcohol content and decreases its acidity, enhancing its body and aromas, making it a wine that always amazes.
Ageing: 14 months in oak barrels.
Tasting Notes: very round and characteristic, fruity and persistent, balanced and harmonious, with hints of ripe red fruit and dried flowers.
Longevity: 10/15 years.
Alcohol Content: 13,5% - 14,5%Vol
Serving Temperature: 18°C.
Food Pairings: Tajarin, dumpling al ragu, roasts, fillet, braised meat, game, cold cuts.
BARBERA D’ALBA D.O.C
It is a selection of the best grapevine cultivated on vineyards in Roero’s hills.
Exposure: South - south/east
Grapevine: 100% Barbera.
Soil Type: Medium texture characterised by sand and clay.
Vinification: Long submerged cap alcoholic fermentation at controlled temperature at about 28°-30°C for 30 days and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks in November.
Ageing: 16 months in Slavonian oak barrels and 24 months in bottle.
Tasting Notes: It has a deep ruby red colour with an interesting black cherry jam -forward bouquet fused with eucalyptus, pepper, cloves and tobacco overtones. Fresh, warm, full-bodied and highly structured taste, it has a pleasantly lingering finish.
Longevity: 10/15 years.
Alcohol Content: 13,5% - 14,5%Vol
Serving Temperature: 18°C.
Food Pairings: Braised, boiled and game meats.
